Present Day

Still a family trade

We still take on whole-house renovations and restorations alongside new estates — kitchens, primary baths, finished lower levels, and the careful work of updating a home that already belongs on its street. View remodel examples.

Our team

Deane and Erika Johnson

Deane Johnson

Deane’s son-in-law and project manager of the Intown Collection, learning under Deane on site and in preconstruction.

Nathan Johnson

Architecture & design

Every commission starts with a clear choice: M. Deane Johnson Homes can design and build under one roof, or we can join the architect and designer you already trust.

In-house

Internal architects & designers

We maintain our own architecture and design team — practitioners trained under the industry’s most well-established firms. When the commission calls for one firm from the first walk through the keys, our in-house studio can lead drawings, interiors, and coordination on site.

Partners

Ready to build with the best

When you arrive with a vision already in the hands of a named architect or designer — or when a residence demands a particular national studio — we partner without friction. Below are a few of the teams we have partnered with for decades in building some of Atlanta’s finest homes.
