Deane Johnson is the fourth generation of his family to be involved in the Atlanta real estate market. He has completed course work in Building Science at Auburn University, has a B.A. in Business & Behavior from Oglethorpe University, and a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Seminary.

   Deane Johnson has been involved in building new homes and renovations that include projects like the stately Georgian home on Tuxedo Road and the Neiman Marcus Southern Accents Holiday House on West Conway.  The High Point in Sandy Springs and West Paces Park in Buckhead are recent communities developed by Deane Johnson.  These homes range in size from 4,000 sf up to 12,000 sf 

     

 

      

 

  Since 1984 he has been a major player in the Atlanta building market.  Deane was C.O.O. for Bob Johnson Development Company from 1980 to 1984, and is the founder and President of M. Deane Johnson, Inc. and Dogwood Brokers, Inc.  He has been involved in all phases of home construction including restoration and renovation of historic homes as well as new homes priced up to 5 million.  Homes include Isaiah Thomas’s new residence in Atlanta and the 1998 Southern Accents/ Neiman Marcus Holiday House.  In addition, Deane has been involved with an inner-city development group dedicated to training the homeless so they may become productive members of society.
